Perini, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iabc.com\">ABC<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/periniassociates.com\/library\/\">perini &amp; associates<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ever wonder why some brands are more successful than others? \u00a0It really isn&#8217;t all that difficult to understand. \u00a0What separates the successful brands like, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\">Apple<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ford.com\">Ford,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/levi.com\">Levi<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coca-cola.com\">Coca-Cola,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.target.com\">Target,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.airforce.com\">USAF<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.denverbroncos.com\">Denver Broncos<\/a> &#8212; I could go on &#8212; \u00a0is the fact that the all have a strategy for public relations and marketing backed by commitment from leadership and supported through resourcing in both people and dollars for development and production of collateral materials (ads, giveaways, TV commercials, sponsorships, and the like).<\/p>\n<p>Remember, a brand is the sum total of the experience your customers and potential customers have with your company. \u00a0A strong brand communicates what your company does, how it does it, <em>and at the same time<\/em>, establishes trust and credibility with potential customers and current customers. \u00a0Your company&#8217;s brand is, in many ways, &#8220;its personality,&#8221; \u00a0according to crowdSPRING, the world&#8217;s #1 marketplace for entrepreneurs, small business, Brands, no profits and agencies.<\/p>\n<p>In my view, what separates the world&#8217;s top brands from you as a small business, startup and local nonprofit is these factors:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. \u00a0Leadership committment. \u00a0<\/strong>The vision backed by the authority to conduct a branding campaign.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. \u00a0Resources to meet the marketing strategy.<\/strong> Already mentioned but key. \u00a0Yes, you can do things for &#8220;FREE&#8221; but not all things that will drive your brand forward.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. \u00a0Being able to differentiate from like competitors.<\/strong>\u00a0In other words, think and thus act differently.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. \u00a0Collaborate with like businesses<\/strong>. \u00a0For example, if there are eight tasting rooms for wine in a community, and there is in Woodland Park, CO, then a smart brand recognizes that they are part of a &#8220;ecosystem&#8221; that surrounds those products and services. \u00a0In this case, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coloradowine.com\">Colorado wines<\/a>. \u00a0Working together to combine creativity and expertise will broaden the appeal of the brand and bring more consumers which will drive business for all.
