Perini, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iabc.com\">ABC<\/a><br \/>\n perini &amp; associates<\/p>\n<p>I am always asked from nonprofits,&#8221;Is there any promotional tools that I can use that are FREE!&#8221; \u00a0Nonprofits traditionally do not have \u00a0PR or marketing budgets. \u00a0Unfortunately, many see building relationships as a &#8220;cost&#8221; vs. an investment. \u00a0See this blog post on ways that your nonprofit can be successful.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a list of 12 tips. \u00a0By free, i mean you don&#8217;t need to write a check to pay for these services. \u00a0However, yes, you will have to take time to research and provide materials. \u00a0So, there is a people cost that I think most of you understand, right?<\/p>\n<p>You will find that these are Colorado-based, but there are similar resources in most communities, if you just take the time to look.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Send a Drumbeat to your network. \u00a0<\/strong>By this I mean, talk your nonprofit up! \u00a0At personal socials, networking events, and the like. \u00a0Have a separate business card just for your nonprofit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. \u00a0 www.your non-profit name.com. \u00a0<\/strong>If you don&#8217;t have a website, have a professional design one. \u00a0Some web designers will even offer their services as a <a href=\"http:\/\/answers.yahoo.com\/question\/index?qid=20061228064808AAg8VyG\">&#8220;in-kind&#8221; donation<\/a>. \u00a0The challenge for you is to keep the website current.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 http:\/\/www.facebook.com. <\/strong>\u00a0Facebook allows for nonprofits to set up their own page where you can tell potentially millions about your organization and managing donations.<\/p>\n<p>4.-8. You need to schedule in advance and have a banner ready. \u00a0A local sign shop may be willing to donate the banner as a donation.<\/p>\n<p>12. <strong>\u00a0http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/. \u00a0<\/strong>More than 80% of those who search on the internet are looking to find a video that relates. \u00a0So, if you don&#8217;t have a video for your nonprofit produce one. \u00a0Again, ask a PR or video production firm to assist. \u00a0Many offer a % of their services pro-bono. \u00a0You won&#8217;t know until you ask.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Michael B.
